Pull-Apart Bacon Bread

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz.) pkg. Carando® Hickory Smoked Bacon
- 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 3 (7.5-oz.) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, melted
- 1/2 cup (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F. Cook bacon until crisp; drain, crumble and set aside.
- Saute bell pepper and onion in oil over medium-high heat until tender.
- Cut biscuits in fourths; place in large mixing bowl. Add sauteed vegetables, crisp bacon, margarine and cheese; toss until thoroughly mixed.
- Place in 10-inch tube pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350°F. for 30 minutes. Immediately invert onto large serving pate. Serve warm.
